This song by Marvin Gaye touches my soul especially the string arrangement in the middle. For a while I had this weird thing where I felt I would touch the world in a huge way but die at an early age. I'm sure it won't happen now but maybe that's why this song touches me in a weird way. But I'm good fam. It took me a while to guess the 3 people he was singing about can you figure it out? I'd like to dedicate this to MJ as well in light of recent events. Please enjoy this nostalgic, commemorative dopeness.

R.I.P. Michael Jackson. My thoughts

So apparently to some my suggestion may be controversial but I'm not trying to say let's make a day where we worship Michael Jackson my view is. If a groundhog can be celebrated out of superstition why not Michael Jackson the greatest musician to do it worldwide. I study pop culture and music worldwide and I think he deserves it. He's not perfect who is. Study someone you admire and you will find a flaw and even if you don't it's there. Michael Jackson was a tortured soul who tried his best to fit in but then he decided to create despite the fact that he didn't and he reminds me no matter who is against you or what they say you still can create something that can transcend anyone's struggle or reality including your own. So in honor of him please enjoy this chart defying legendary diamond status attaining dopeness.

I can HAZ good rap?
So I know I've been gone for a while but I brought gifts with me. So I've been scouring (I think that's a word for searching) Itunes and cd baby for new artists and this dude Theory Hazit is one of the gemstones I've found. Dude just speaks from the heart and is in my opinion one of the best to do it. So I do warn you these may potentially become two of your new favorite songs. Go to itunes and get both of his cd's Extra Credit and Lord Fire THEORY HAZIT THEORY HAZIT THEORY HAZIT!! Please enjoy this theoretical hip-hop-u-mental dopeness.

My New Pre-Summer JAM!!
I have been blasting this song consistently for what seems like two weeks but I think it's just been one. Anywaaays. It's off of Marvin Gaye's last album on motown called "In our lifetime?" That's why it's got that michael jackson "don't stop till you get enough" type of horn vibe. (I don't know how correct that is in the order of those songs being released" And it has a shoutout to stevie wonder as well. It's just a greeeeat song and it's talking about practical ways of praising God other than just singing in a building. It kind of correlates with a sermon I preached about shining the light of Christ around us. Anyways, the song is doooope nonetheless.
Please enjoy this funky, latter disco dopeness.
