I am constantly reminded as an artist and a christian I have an obligation to be a voice for the downtrodden. Like my man Jesus said, I have been set apart by God to preach justice and set the captives free. You may have a different belief system as me but family we must and I repeat MUST see that "a threat to justice somewhere is a threat to justice anywhere." I feel that so many times as I watch news I'm disconnected from humanity as I say "whew good thing it's not me" instead of thinking this is evidence that it could be me. I prayed to God today for inspiration to finish writing my album with these last two posts I definitely got it. God has blessed us fam let's be a blessing and as the the late Michael Jackson said, "WE are the world, WE are the children, WE are the ones to make a better place, so let's start giving."
